My professional experiences over the last 20 years have provided me the opportunity to obtain an in-depth understanding of the financial needs of companies in a variety of industries and stages of their business life cycle. My career began at a local public accounting firm in Bel Air, where I mastered understanding the driving factors of local businesses. I continued my public accounting career at a large regional firm where I had the opportunity to work with larger business clients and high net-worth individuals.
To further expand my experiences, I have worked in lead financial positions for non-profit and for-profit entities. I have a strong command for managing employees, communicating with all levels of an organization and improving processes and profitability. I have set-up a complete financial reporting system from the chart of accounts to generating monthly financial statements. Additionally, I have implemented a cash reporting and accounts receivable/collections process, set-up KPI’s and prepared the monthly MD&A.
I have a proven track record of developing and implementing financial reporting systems, building and growing teams, and creating and executing a complete cultural and financial turn-around strategy.
